More Photos.

We've had some outstanding sunsets here at unit #2007 over the past few days. Ever since the rain went away on Saturday it's been great. This high pressure makes for crisp, clear nights. I put 4 items up for sale on craigslist.com last weekend but I haven't sold anything yet. It looked like I had a buyer for my speakers but he backed out. I do have a UM alum who says she will be here on Sunday to buy my table and chairs for $30. Not too bad. The proceeds will help offset the $70 I paid for a bike I found on the same website. I took the redline up to Loyola on Monday, tested it out, and then rode it 10 miles home. Damn did my ass hurt by the time I got here. It's in decent shape and shifts really well but the brakes need work. I tried to fix the front brake today and now it doesn't work at all. I think I'll hold off until next spring before I pay someone to fix it. No more trip to Nashville next week just back to MI now. I haven't done any planning for London yet but I still have time. I also applied for a job last weekend that I found on craigslist. Haven't heard back. I think I may be over qualified but we'll see. Maybe it wasn't even real, just some people wanting to steal my identity. Going to the Cubs game tomorrow with Dragan and Kart-hole. Should be a good time but it's supposed to be cold. I signed up for the Sears Tower stair climb again this year. 103 floors and 2109 steps. It is November 12th so I have time to train. Let me know if you are interested in joining me on the climb. That's about it from here. Good night.

Just Relaxin.

Hello everyone. I haven't posted since the end of my trip so I thought I'd throw something out here. I've continued my traveling ways since I got back to Chicago. On my way to the Labor Day weekend wedding I stayed 4 nights with 4 different friends/family. Then spent the rest of the weekend and week in Canada and MI. The 5:15 a.m. train out of Port Huron back to Chicago was tough but for $20 you can't beat it. Dragan and I got one last lunch at the beach in last week and I swam in the pool a couple times before they closed it for the season. Now I'm back in MI at my parents house. The surprise birthday party for my mother couldn't have gone any better. There was a great turn-out, she was surprised, the boat was nice, the singer was good, and the weather was damn near perfect. For those not in the know, the family arranged a surprise 50th party for my mom and aunt (they're twins) on a boat cruise in Lake Huron and the St. Clair River. It was a really good time and gave me a chance to see everyone. My hair was a big hit with all the ladies. They just kept saying how they've never seen it this long and how good it looks. I think I'll keep it long up until I get my first job interview (which may be next year at this rate.) I stayed at the cabin in Canada and I just love it there. It is so quiet this time of year and every clear night I'm just amazed by the stars. I don't get to see many stars in Chicago. The weekend got even better when I whupped up on my brother in tennis. :o)

I've been keeping busy doing lots of financial planning for friends and family. I'm starting to think I could really make a run at starting a biz with a decent amount of business. But I'm still planning to work for a firm for a while first. I'm traveling to Nasheville in two weeks. Then I'm off to London (UK) a week after that. And I'll probably get to DC to help out some "clients" at some point as well. I'm not going to worry about getting a job until at least I get back from London. I'm staying with Jeff over there and booked my ticket for $82 and 40k American miles. Couldn't pass up that deal.

A quick word about football. That UM-ND game over the weekend was probably the best I've seen from UM since the championship in 1997. I kept waiting for them to blow it but they actually finished strong. They couldn't have picked a better game. Nothing is better than shutting the Irish pieholes in South Bend. Now I'm just waiting for the loss to Wisconsin this weekend. Lions suck. Period. Go Jags.

Keep in touch.
